We hope to encourage and support their creative explorations and in the process teach effective coping strategies, foster supportive relationships, and connect children with their culture and heritage.Our goal is to offer arts activities that will help them cope with the feelings brought about by the earthquake, as well as activities that simply offer a respite and an opportunity to enjoy themselves, all the while giving them a chance to document their exper

  • Description: Salut Tout le monde,Come join us for our wonderful Social Gathering event, at one of our latest venues. It's going to be a night of meeting other fun Francophones and Francophiles, having lovely conversations, making new friends, enjoying Happy Hour specials on beverages ( both alcohol and non alcohol ) at the bar, great music and dancing too. It's a Saturday night and there shouldn't be any excuses. Our past Saturday Night parties have been unique and fun. Do feel free to invite your friends, as everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. We will be welcoming people from 8pm, but the event will continue throughout the night. The Happy Hour special ends at 10 pm. Please keep in mind that the Happy Hour special is just for our group.   • Description: Under the baton of Artistic Director Dr. Thea Kano, the New York City Master Chorale presents Music of Maurice Duruflé at 8 pm on Saturday, May 22 at Church of St. Paul the Apostle (West 60th Street at Columbus Avenue).Acclaimed organist Stephen Hamilton, who studied organ with Madame Duruflé will accompany and the Rock Creek Singers of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC will be special guests. The performance features Duruflé's Requiem and Messe Cum Jubilo, which Dr. Kano studied with the Association Maurice et Marie-Madeleine Duruflé in Paris.Tickets: $30.00 general admission, $20 students/seniors.
