Independent scholar, journalist and writer, Gary Victor is the most widely read Haitian author of our time.  He is pleased to come to Baruch to present a seminar on his works as a reflection of Haitian society.

Short video and audio clips will accompany the author in conversation with CUNY professors Alessandra Benedicty and Thomas C. Spear, moderated by Dr. Debra Popkin. A break between the two parts of the discussion (light refreshments will be provided) will provide an additional moment to speak with the author.

Full bibliography, detailed info, excerpts and interviews are available on Île en île website.  www.lehman.cuny.edu/ile.en.ile/paroles/victor.html

Discussion will primarily be in French.
