Five Boroughs Music Festival

French Baroque specialists Les Délices present Conversations galantes, a program which explores rarely heard instrumental gems from the salons of 1750s Paris. Featuring works from the French Rococo—music from the eve of an aesthetic revolution—these works from the 1740s and 1750s (by François-André Philidor, Louis-Gabriel Guillemain, Jean-Marie Leclair, Louis de Caix d’Hervelois, and Jean-Philippe Rameau) challenge expectations about Baroque music. www.lesdelices.org
