Swiss cinema reflects the country’s rich cultural diversity with films in German, French, and Italian. In honor of the Mois de la Francophonie, FIAF, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York and Swiss Films, presents a month-long exploration of Swiss films in French.

Included in this series are Jonas and Nos rêves, vos cauchemars, two shorts, to be screened on March 20, La journée de la Francophonie, in celebration of the 300th anniversary of Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s birth.

On March 6, FIAF kicks off the series with director Jacob Berger, an important voice in Swiss cinema today, who will present his films Je pense à Alain Tanner and Aime ton père.
