Being billed as likely Charles Aznavour’s last performance in not only New York, but the US, the concert planned for September 20th at Madison Square Garden is, as can only be expected of the 90-year-old French songwriter, musician, and actor, guaranteed to be a showstopper.
Aznavour, who could single-handedly represent the essence of French popular song, is one of the world’s greatest, most renowned entertainers. The New York Times weighs in on his upcoming performance here:
