The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) is calling all wine-lovers and Francophiles for the latest edition of the annual Beaujolais Nouveau Fête. FIAF is offering thirsty New Yorkers the chance to be among the first to taste the new vintage on the American shore, while also providing a sampling of French music, entertainment, and joie.Now synonymous with Beaujolais Nouveau at FIAF, the New York chapter of the Ordre des Compagnons du Beaujolais will once again be inducting new honorary members at the event. The Ordre uses a special ceremony complete with traditional “Beaujolais” dress to induct distinguished individuals who share an appreciation for the joys of the vine. This year’s inductees include: Renaud Dutreil, Chairman of LVMH Inc.; Nicole Fischelis, Vice President & Fashion Director for Ready-To-Wear at Macy’s Inc.; and Philippe Lalliot, Consul General of France in New York.$55; $40 FIAF members
