Salamu!

A month has almost gone by and Made In Africa & The Xiles are getting ready to do an “encore”!

WE are kicking off our monthly party "AFRO STATE OF MIND" on April 20th @ The Vault Ultra Lounge (below Element).
DJ BIRANE, XPECT & SIRAK will keep you on your feet with the best Coupé Décallé, Azonto, Zouk, Soca, Salsa, Dancehall, Soukouss....

As we’ve communicated in the past, we are committed to promoting African culture in a positive light, empowering YOU our audience and encouraging networking, so it is in that spirit that we are glad to announce that we will have two guests in attendance:

- Ms. KéAbnesh G. Zewdie, chairman and CEO of New Vision Children foundation. KéAbnesh’s foundation helps children who are at risk of total vision loss in Ethiopia. http://www.newvisionchildren.org/

- The very talented KizombaNYC crew will be there to share their passion for Kizomba music also known as the “African Tango” which originated from Angola. The best part of it all is that they will perform a demo of their tantalizing dance. KizombaNYC is a group of experienced professional dancers who have been teaching Kizomba in NYC as well as other cities throughout the nation. http://kizombanyc.com/

If you missed last month affair you better not miss this one! We highly recommend that you come out EARLY (yes my dear African brothers & sisters, 10:30 PM does not mean Midnight, being fashionably late is old fashion) to meet KéAbnesh and the members and Kizomba NYC as they will be available starting 11PM to talk to anyone about their respective mission.

Please spread the word, bring a friend, a family member, tell a stranger but most importantly come out and experience AFRO STATE OF MIND, the hottest African party in New York City!
