Dignity is a riveting fiction film tracing the human struggle associated with first organizing the strike and then fending off all the maneuvers used by the French to break the strike. HERE WE DROWN ALGERIENS. OCTOBER 17, 1961

The brutal repression they confronted is recounted in detail in this documentary that reveals one of the painful pages of the Algerian war for independence.
