Ms. Jo Thompson is 85 years old and still swinging, 66 years after winning Amateur Night at The Apollo Theater (which makes her 85!) Currently, she is appearing at Cafe Carlyle on 3/28 and 3/30 (but not 3/28) in a fab show called "Slender, Tender and Tall." I know many members of New York in French love jazz and Harlem. Jo is a living, breathing example of show business history, and she's still "got it." The late night shows (10:4pm) are very affordable and very worth it.
