Last June, students from the French Heritage Language Program at the International Community High School in the Bronx embarked on a video documentary class project to explore the richness of Harlem's Little Senegal. With the help of movie director Hanaa Alfassi, journalist Michael Da Costa, and their teachers Laura Murruni and Amel El Ghazouni, our students managed to promote in their own fashion a NY neighborhood that faithfully embodies the new face of American Francophonie today. Check it out!
