One Elementary School Teacher for Full Time Work Schedule
POSITION: Teacher implementing French as a Second Language Instruction
ELIGIBILITY
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid New York State Teaching Certificate
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Ability to teach French language to students in grades K-5
Ability to develop customized stimulating content and assessment
Ability to collaborate across content areas and grades as a member of a teacher team
Demonstrate strong classroom managing skills
Ability to enrich lessons with grade-level appropriate French music, movement, drama, and games
Duties/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and conduct exciting French lesson instruction to K-5 students that are aligned to classroom current units of studies
Articulate with classroom teachers in order to integrate arias of curriculum
SALARY:
As per current Collective Bargaining Agreement of the most current contractual rate
